Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (Intern) who is passionate about Web3, cryptocurrency, and driving impactful conversations. As a key part of our sales team, you’ll help expand Onramper’s client base by identifying and connecting with potential partners, ensuring they see the value of integrating our solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Closing: Onramper has a large quantity of inbound leads. You can individually schedule meetings, perform discovery calls and close (longtail) leads.  

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential Web3 companies, crypto projects, and businesses that can benefit from Onramper's services.

  • Qualify Opportunities: Assess and understand the needs of prospects to determine fit with Onramper's solutions. When a lead is qualified as mid-market or Enteprise it’s your job to ensure an Account Executive is introduced

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team: Work closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads and strategize outreach efforts.

  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously learn about cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and Web3 developments to better connect with prospects.

  • Maintain CRM Systems: Log and manage leads, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Job requirements

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Fluency in English: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Crypto Enthusiasm: Passionate about cryptocurrency, blockchain, and decentralized finance.

  • Web3 Curious: Eagerness to explore the potential of blockchain technologies and the opportunities they create.

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: A natural ability to build rapport and connect with a wide range of people.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Prior Sales Experience: Knowledge of sales processes and previous experience in sales or business development.

  • Understanding of Web3 Ecosystem: Familiarity with the tools and platforms shaping the blockchain space.
